Chelsea Penafort is an advocate for self-expression through movement, language and art. After beginning her career in law, she made a bold pivot toward creativity and storytelling. She now teaches yoga in Kuala Lumpur, runs a micro-art gallery called Bad Bxtch, and tutors children in reading comprehension and creative writing. Little Momo, the Brave is her debut children’s book - a cheeky and charming tale inspired by Malaysia’s jungles that celebrates the courage it takes to honour your dreams.
Nelson Lip hails from Tawau, Sabah. He graduated from the One Academy and is currently working as a freelance illustrator. He is actively involved in various children book illustration projects in collaboration with organizations such as UNICEF Malaysia, World Vision Malaysia, Doctors Without Borders – Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF), Harvard School of Public Health and Wizarding World. Nelson loves nature. He is an active social media user @nelsonlip.
