Nine in ten heart patients don’t change their lifestyles post-treatment. In a matter literally relating to life and death, only a staggering 10% follow through on what to do to live more healthily.
And yet at work, managers are surprised when their teams don’t adopt a new behaviour after a quick chat. Chances are that the same surprised manager who’s been asked by their own manager to change a behaviour has also been struggling to do so.
Performance consultant Oliver Foo explains the gap that so often exists between our intentions and our actions, and provides a powerful framework to build new behavioural habits to get to a goal.
Along the way, Oliver recounts stories of his own and his clients’ struggles, and how “Head to Heart to Habit” enabled their eventual breakthrough.

Oliver Foo helps leaders raise their own and their team’s performance at work. In 2018, he called time on a 30-year career in tech/telecoms, where he’d gone from being a rookie coder to sales leader to C-suite executive. Along the way, he led a 400-strong team and lived in five countries.
Oliver now leverages those lived experiences to help executives in complex roles be more agile, more resilient. He helps them to understand their default behaviours and to embrace new ones to get to their goals. An alumni of University of Manchester, Oliver has also completed a Senior Management Program with INSEAD, and is an International Coaching Federation ACC Certified Coach.
