Among his famous descendants are John Hochstadt, who founded the Singapore Casket Company and Herman Hochstadt, former Permanent Secretary at the Ministries of Finance and Law and current patriarch of the Clan. Rex Shelley, noted Eurasian community leader and author was also a member of the Clan.
