Centuries ago, the tip of the Malay Peninsula was a forest-covered Garden of Eden, with over 2,500 different species of native plants. Today, over 1,000 native species can still be found, but most are restricted to the few surviving forest areas. Each species listed in this particular guidebook includes a beautifully photographed image, and provides the reader a wealth of information about the plants, their origin, and their use.
