Asad Latif, a former journalist, is the author of the biography, Lim Kim San: A Builder of Singapore, as well as a biography of politician and journalist Gerald de Cruz. Asad studied History at Cambridge, where he was a Chevening and S. Rajaratnam Scholar, and was a Fulbright Visiting Scholar at Harvard.
Lee Xin Li is an independent illustrator based in Singapore. The architecture graduate from the National University of Singapore enjoys exploring the stories and layers behind the landscapes he encounters. He is deeply inspired by his experience of growing up in a constantly changing Singapore. His works revolves around the topics of shared memories and the question of identity in a shifting world, exploring what shapes our cultures, such as cuisines, architecture and history.
His works has been used in two National Day Parades, as well as the Singapore Tourism Board, Maritime Port & Authority and the Urban Redevelopment Authority.
