Valerie Pereira is one of the authors of Go Shanti Go, a picture book she wrote with her sisters to encourage children to dream big. She is also the author of the Celebrations in Singapore series, which includes picture books on how children celebrate different festivals in Singapore: Stars on Orchard Road, Dragons in Chinatown, Peacocks Around Little India and The Moon over Geylang Serai.
Kwee Eng Liau is an Early Childhood Educator and a self-taught illustrator. While pursuing a Bachelor degree in Architecture, she found her passion in figure drawing and story making. She enjoys reading picture books with her niece and traveling with her spouse. Dragons in Chinatown is her first picture book.
