இந்த கவிதைத் தொகுப்பு மிக அடர்த்தியான கருப்பொருளைக் கொண்டு கட்டமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. ஒவ்வொரு கவிதைகளும் சொல்லவரும் கருத்துகளைக் காட்சிப்படுத்தும் விதம் பிரம்மிப்பை ஏற்படுத்துகின்றன. தொகுப்பில் உள்ள கவிதைகள் தனிமை, பிரிவு, ஏக்கம், அயல்நாட்டு வாழ்க்கை, தவிப்பு, வலிகள், ஆசைகள், காதல், சமூக அவலங்கள் மற்றும் இயற்கை என்று பல திசைகளில் விரிகின்றன. இயற்கையையும், அழகியலையும் மட்டுமே இல்லாது சமகால வாழ்வில் இருக்கும் அரசியலையும் கவிதைகள் வழி வெளிப்படுத்துகின்றன.

A Magical Aquarium Called the Ocean was built on a deep message. These poems have a powerful way of visualising and bringing their content to life. The themes of the collection include loneliness, distance, longing, migration, desperation, pain, desire, love, social awareness, and nature. These poems not only talk about nature and beauty, but also explore the politics of our daily routines.
சுபா செந்தில்குமார் தமிழ்நாட்டில் உள்ள கும்பகோணம் நகரைச் சேர்ந்தவர். சிங்கப்பூரில் கடந்த பன்னிரண்டு ஆண்டுகளாக வசித்து வருகிறார். சிங்கப்பூர் தேசிய கலைகள் மன்றம் வழங்கும், தங்கமுனை விருதினை (கவிதைக்கான பிரிவில்), 2015 ஆம் ஆண்டும் (இரண்டாவது பரிசு), 2019 ஆம் ஆண்டும் (முதல் பரிசு) இவர் வென்றுள்ளார். இவரது கவிதைகள் சிங்கப்பூர் மற்றும் தமிழகத்தின் இதழ்களில் வெளிவந்துள்ளன. இது இவரது முதல் கவிதைத் தொகுப்பாகும்.

Subha Senthilkumar came from Kumbakonam, Tamil Nadu, India and has lived in Singapore for the past 12 years. She won the Golden Point Award presented by The National Arts Council (NAC) in 2015 (Second Place) and in 2019 (First Place). Her poems have been published in magazines in Singapore and Tamil Nadu, India. This is her first poetry collection.
