My Daddy Is The Best! is the first picture book in the My Family series by Josephyne Ho.
During Josephyne’s work as a preschool principal, she has had the privilege to witness the beautiful yet disparate relationships between fathers and their children, and vice versa. Her heart ached when she saw how heartbroken and lost children could be when they lost their fathers at a young age. However, she too bore witness to how resilient children could be in the face of such adversities.
Suitable for children of all ages, My Daddy is The Best! is written as an ode to all fathers in simple prose. -
Josephyne Ho is a children’s book writer and illustrator who is based in Singapore. Josephyne has been in the Early Childhood field for about twenty years and has a postgraduate degree in Early Childhood Education. Apart from tending to her balcony garden in her free time, Josephyne dabbles in a range of hobbies such as reading, writing and painting.
Afiqah M. Suhaimi is a practising artist who is currently based in Singapore. Afiqah has a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from The School of Creative Arts and Media, University of Tasmania, Australia. Apart from being an Arts Specialist, Afiqah is also an independent mural artist who designs projects for interior home spaces around Singapore. She enjoys exploring the outdoors, painting and reading up on architectural and photography books.
