Melissa Ong is an educator with a degree in journalism and teaches at Singapore Polytechnic. She is passionate about storytelling and teaching children how to read. She believes children should never be without a good book and so decided to write one herself.
Javon Chan is an illustrator and animator who graduated from Nanyang Technological University with a degree in digital animation. He enjoys creating characters and telling their stories through illustrations and short films. Elephants Live Upstairs! is his first picture book.
