Singapore Drama Educators Association (SDEA) was established in 2002 as a not-for-profit organisation by a group of artists and drama educators. Its mission is to advance the profession of the drama/theatre educator and advocate for the practice and value of drama and theatre in performance, education and community.

The Plays For Youth Resource Guide contains recommended drama activities, strategies, and discussion questions to make the most of the plays featured in the anthology. It was developed by the contributing editors Adeeb Fazah, Jeffrey Tan, and Isabella Ow to complement the Anthology Plays For Youth. Each editor provides their own directorial perspectives and excavation methods that will be useful beyond the prescribed play.
