Cool discounts at Epigram Books’ Pop Up Store

When it comes to pop-up sales, it don’t mean a thing if it ain’t got that bargain. That’s why this year’s we’re upping the discount ante – or rather, lowering the prices – like never before.

How low can we go? How about the fact that prices are being slashed by up to 90%, with almost every book going for less than $20!

Best-selling titles are up for grabs, such as the latest picture book, The Phantom of Oxley Castle; the limited hardcover Eisner edition of the award-winning graphic novel, The Art of Charlie Chan Hock Chye by Sonny Liew; the 2016 Epigram Book Fiction Prize winner, The Gatekeeper by Nuraliah Norasid; Amanda Lee-Koe’s award-winning Ministry of Moral Panic; and Mee Siam Mai Hum, a collection of the darnedest things our politicians say.

You will also find local classics such as The Adventures of Holden Heng by Robert Yeo, Green is the Colour by Lloyd Fernando and Son of Singapore by Tan Kok Seng (you can get the boxed set for a mere $25).

And let’s not forget works from Cultural Medallion winners such as Isa Kamari, You Jin and Mohamed Latiff Mohamed too.

You can also pick up Young Adult and Middle-Grade titles such as Danger Dan, Mount Emily, Triple Nine Sleuths and Amos Lee, some of which have been bundled for a bargain.

Latest titles include Danger Dan and Gadget Girl: The Robot Revolution, Sherlock Sam’s Orange Shorts and Sherlock Sam and the Fiendish Heist in London, and Goodbye, Mount Emily.

Other book bundles include picture book and early readers series such as Understanding Singaporeans, Stories from Around the World and Prominent Singaporeans.

And let’s not forget our popular NOTbooks and bargain books from $1 to $5.

This is definitely one sale that is worth every cent.

Don’t say we bo jio!

Epigram Books' pop-up store happens on 8 Dec (2-9pm), 9 Dec (11am-9pm) and 10 Dec (11am-6pm) at 1008 Toa Payoh North, #03-08, Singapore 318996.
