Quirky Creatures

Eliza Teoh, a former journalist and sub-editor with The Straits Times, is best known for her national bestselling children's book series, Ellie Belly, which has sold more than 90,000 copies to date. Mary-Ruth Low works with Project Pteropus, under the Malaysian NGO Rimba, on the conservation of fruit bat pollinators. She has a soft spot for snakes, slugs and creatures that are generally perceived as unlovable. Qui Quan is a keeper at the Singapore Zoo. He loves being in the outdoors and catching snakes. He also likes to draw - a lot.
