In this collection of charming poems, local editor Ann Peters tells the stories of her wondrous, carefree childhood in Singapore from a child’s point of view. The characters in Ann’s rhyming verses embody the spirit of the people and places that the author grew up among, and which she wishes to share with the children of today.

  • “Recommended as an introduction to poetry for young readers because clear thoughts come across in the writing.”
    —The Sunday Times
