The collection of 45 projects covers the 5 judging categories for Planning, Urban Design, Resilence, Infrastructure and a Student category.
It showcases the achievements of these professionals and reflects the application of their Singapore experience in solving planning issues that are confronting many developing cities in Southeast Asia, South Asia, China, Africa and the Middle East today. -
The Singapore Institute of Planners is a professional organisation established in 1971 which is dedicated to the advancement of sustainable urban and regional planning with a view to create better communities and environments.
The objectives of The Institute are to
- Promote urban and regional developments that are in the best interests of the community- Promote and foster continuing professional education in urban and regional planning and related fields
- Raise the profiles of members by admitting only persons with appropriate qualifications and experience into the Institute and by ensuring high ethical standards- Secure the advancement of its members in the field of urban and regional planning
