Samsui Girl

Inspired by Singapore’s iconic Samsui women.

Amber is a cheeky girl who likes to put her legs up on the chair. Her mother dislikes this and says that only Samsui women put their legs on chairs. To get her way, Amber decides to be a Samsui girl. But it is not as easy as she thinks! 

The book includes a history section on the real Samsui women of Singapore.
