Sebilangan puisi dalam kumpulan Tukang Tunjuk Telunjuk telah memenangi berapa hadiah peraduan menulis puisi, termasuk Anugerah Pena Emas 2003 (Hadiah Kedua) dan Anugerah Pena Emas 2015 (Hadiah Pertama).

    Written from 2000 to 2016, verses in this collection of poems touch on various aspects of the life of a young man seeking for his direction, identity and moral compass. This collection of 40 poems hopes to shed an understanding of life from an urbanite in the Lion City in the early 21st century. Several poems in Tukang Tunjuk Telunjuk were part of the winning entries for poetry contests such as the 2003 Golden Point Award (Second Prize) and the 2015 Golden Point Award (First Prize).

  • Farihan Bahron, pengasas bersama syarikat penerbitan Unggun Creative, dilahirkan di Singapura pada tahun 1979. Karya-karya puisi dan cerpennya pernah memenangi beberapa sayembara termasuk Anugerah Pena Emas 2003 (Hadiah Kedua - Puisi), Anugerah Pena Emas 2015 (Hadiah Pertama - Puisi dan Cerpen), Peraduan Mencari Kristal 2016 (Hadiah Ketiga - Cerpen) dan Sayembara Puisi Kata-Pilar 2020 (Hadiah Utama). Di majlis anugerah Hadiah Sastera Singapura 2018, kumpulan sajak sulungnya, Tukang Tunjuk Telunjuk, telah memenangi kategori puisi Melayu, sementara kumpulan cerpennya Kesumat Sang Avatar, menerima hadiah kepujian bagi kategori fiksyen Melayu.

    Farihan Bahron, co-founder of the publishing outfit Unggun Creative, was born in Singapore in 1979. Farihan's literary works received various accolades that include Golden Point Award 2003 (2nd Prize- Poetry), Golden Point Award 2015 (1st Prize - Poetry & Short Story), Mencari Kristal 2016 (3rd Prize - Short Story) and Kata-Pilar Poetry Competition 2020 (Top Prize). Farihan’s first poetry collection, Tukang Tunjuk Telunjuk (Finger Pointing Expert) won the Singapore Literature Prize (2018) for the Malay poetry category, while his short story collection Kesumat Sang Avatar (Avatar's Wrath) received commendation prize for Malay fiction.
